Navegando por internet me encontré un post de este grupo en el blog Negative Youth, era de esas tardes en las que quieres encontrar nueva música, los escuché y me encantaron, sobre todo la canción “Ascending Temple”, me volvió loco, fui a su Soundcloud a escuchar más y decidí buscarlos para entrevistarlos. Dos chicos de lo más amables y con mucha onda.

 We really like the idea of staying in touch with our youth and never forgetting where we came from. / Realmente nos encanta la idea de siempre estar en contacto con nuestro lado joven y nunca olvidar de donde venimos.

- For you, what’s Art and Music? / Para ustedes, ¿qué es arte y música?

It’s all about doin your own thing and getting in touch with ur feelings, doin’ what u think is beautiful. Immerse yourself in the fantasy you want to live in, feel the power of love, and the weight of pain. keep it real. <3 / Se trata de hacer tus propias cosas y entrar en contacto con tus sentimientos, haciendo lo que es bello. - How born this project?, Who is in the group? / ¿Cómo nace este proyecto?, ¿Quiénes están en el grupo?

The project was born by Preetom Choudhury and Shane LeBlanc, listening to too much trance, going to too many shows/parties, taking too many drugs, kissing too many girls, and boys… having too much fun, eventually, dying inside, and being reborn as boys. Finally Boys. / El proyecto nace de Preetom Choudhury y Shane LeBlanc, escuchando mucho trance, yendo a muchos conciertos y fiestas, tomando mucha droga, besando a varias chicas y chicos…divirtiéndonos mucho, eventualmente muriendo por dentro y renaciendo como chicos, finalmente chicos.

- What’s the sound that defines Finally Boys? / ¿Qué sonido define a Finally Boys?

Definitely our voices, the endless rising of euphoria brought in with big synths, and our fun breaks. / Definitivamente nuestras voces, el aumento interminable de euforia que llega con grandes sintetizadores y descansos divertidos.

- How is your creative process? / ¿Cómo es su proceso creativo?

One of us usually starts by getting down a melody/basic idea that sticks with us. Then we keep working together on all of the instruments, and throwing down a simple beat. Then we’re ready to try and channel an angel’s voice to sing. After we’ve got the song structure written we keep adding and refining things until we’re happy. / Usualmente uno de nosotros empieza con una melodía de base, después trabajamos juntos en los demás instrumentos y agregamos beats simples. Luego estamos listo para agregar una voz angelical que cante. Después tenemos la estructura escrita de la canción y vamos añadiendo y refinando cosas hasta que estamos felices con ella.

- What inspires you? / ¿Qué los inspira?

Honestly, the internet is the most inspiring thing we have ever encountered. / Honestamente, internet es lo más inspirador que he conocido.

- Someone who would you like to collaborate with and why? / ¿Alquien con quién les gustaría colaborar y porqué?
